Smell, long lasting
Introduction
As you would expect from a leading fragrance manufacturer Calvin Klein has a wide variety of popular perfumes for both men and woman with many having different styles of the same fragrance line for men and women. The shape of the bottle is often slightly different for each sex and Calvin Klein`s Truth fragrance is no different.
With so many different fragrances on the market Truth has done well throught it`s time on the market as One of the most popular fragrances from Calvin Klein in recent years Truth was launched in 2003 and continues to sell well five years on in 2008.
The Smell
Now onto the smell of the fragrance and you won`t be dissapointed with it as you get a really fresh scent with hints of canopy greens accented by basil and there`s also a hint of cardamon. The fragrance also has a slightly woody tone which gives a nice balance. It makes a really sensual fragrance.
The Use
It is great for many different situations. You can use it for everyday whether you are working, playing or just being casual. When I go out to the local pubs or clubs I often notice people wearing this fragrance and it lasts very well and doesnt lose it`s smell for hours after spraying it.
The good thing about quality fragrances like Truth is that you don`t need to cake yourself in it to bring the fragrance out. All you need is just a couple of sprays to the front of the neck and a little around your chest as usual.
The Style
Generally I have been very impressed with the look of the bottles from Cavin Klein fragrance and Truth is no different, as you can see, Truth comes in a fancy looking glass bottle with a simple button for spraying the fragrance and as the bottle is seethrough you can see how much of the fragrance you have got left in the bottle.
You can buy a variety of sizes of Truth Eau De Toilette, they come in 30ml, 50ml and 100ml bottles and there are also two other products in shower gel and after shave. You can expect to pay around about £30-£40 for a 100ml bottle of tghe fragrance but there are always some great deals on the internet to look out for.
Where does it rank
There are some nicer fragrances out there that will appeal to a wider range but this is one of the most popular and well known fragrances from Calvin Klein so It definetly has it`s value. A fine fragrance that will appeal to a lot of people and it is one of the top fragrances that women buy for their partners.
Overall
This is a fine fragrance that is reasonably priced compared to other fine fragrances out there and it has a lot of appeal in many different areas. Smell, Style, Look all seem to be covered here. If you are looking for a new fragrance and are a fan of Calvin Klein fragrances then try the truth and even if you have had this before try it again.

A fresh and clean scent, light and long lasting.
A while back I was in need of a new aftershave and my wife kindly bought me a gift of Calvin Klein Truth Eau De Toilette. I had not been expecting the gift so was obviously greatly pleased to have received it, and having never heard of it before was intrigued as to what the scent of the fragrance would be. I knew that I would not be disappointed, and having sprayed myself for the first time with it was greatly impressed with its smell. Calvin Klein fragrances never fail to impress me and Truth is no exception to this rule, it is a fantastic fragrance and is one that I have used most days for the last few months. Although I had not previously heard of it, Truth has actually been in production since 2002 for the male market.
The bottle I was bought is of the 50ml size, it is contained within an interestingly shaped sloped bottle; glass at the bottom and silver to the top. The design is something that greatly appeals to me, it is slick and stylish and looks perfect sitting there on the shelf. The back of the bottle contains a curve, but at the front it slopes straight up. Often I find that the bottle is actually more appealing than the fragrance itself, however that is certainly not the case here as Truth is without doubt one of the finest scented eau de toilette`s that I have ever had the pleasure of using.
Fragrance scents are one of the hardest things to describe I feel, there is so much you feel you could say about them and yet when you come to putting words on a page they just don`t seem to flow. What I would say of Truth is that it has a fresh smell, it sits well on your body and is an extremely pleasant odour. It is an extremely sensual scent, woody undertones can definitely be smelt here. There are notes of cedar, patchouli, and basil; this combination makes for a phenomenally fresh smelling scent indeed, one that would be suitable for all occasions. It`s a light scent, so won`t get up the nose of those such as myself who have a weak smell threshold. Some fragrances can have me in coughing fits, my chest tightens and I struggle to breathe; this certainly isn`t the case here, Truth is an incredibly light scent and is one that will not cause offence. The beauty of it is that not much is needed either, whilst the scent is light; even the slightest of sprays will be more than enough to keep you smelling fresh and feisty for the rest of the day ahead.
There are so many fragrances out there on the market that to be noticed, you really need to make a good first impression. With the innovative shape of the Truth bottle, it certainly makes itself known and is one that I would definitely notice first if out aftershave shopping in a store. Although I did not personally purchase this eau de toilette, it is one that I will most certainly be buying again in the future. I tend not to stick with any one brand or fragrance, but in Truth I feel that I have finally found my scent. It suits me perfectly and with a smell so fresh, I could never feel anything but clean. On consulting my partner I discovered that she actually paid a price of £30 for the 50ml bottle from Boots, and in purchasing it here also received a free gift of a green Calvin Klein bath towel. If you delve deep into the depths of the internet and take a trip to Fragrancenet.com however, the 50ml bottle can be bought at a price of £16.36 whilst the 100ml bottle will set you back £22.46. If wishing to purchase this fragrance in the conventional fashion on the high street then you will find that at current, Boots actually have it on special offer and the 50ml bottle as I have can be bought for £19.99. Truth is a fragrance that I personally can`t recommend enough, it`s so fresh and funky; the perfect fragrance for any night out, or in fact any night in for that matter.
